Sewing and shoe machine needles.
Sewing-machine needles have formed part of Groz-Beckert's manufacturing program for over 40 years. Whether for underwear, sportswear, suits, shoes, car seats or embroidery – Groz-Beckert offers the right needle for every sewing application with a product portfolio of around 2,500 sewing and shoe machine needles.
The Sewing product area is not only an indispensable partner with a comprehensive and highquality product range, but also provides support with a wide range of services before, during and after the sewing process.
The sewing and joining service develops solutions for sewing problems and provides customer-specific needle recommendations, and the INH Quality Management developed and patented by Groz-Beckert helps to ensure compliance in sewing, companies and increased efficiency in the sewing process.

Special application needle SAN™ 10 for fine knitwear and woven
The special application needle SAN™ 10 combines the requirements for protection of the material and needle stability. Its slim design results in a reduced crosssection in the eye area, reducing the stress on the material as the needle penetrates it. At the same time, the special geometry in the blade area offers a sufficient needle stability in order to avoid needle breakages.
Special application needle SAN™ 10 XS for finest knitwear and woven
For the processing of ultra-fine fabrics and materials that are extremely difficult to sew, the SAN™ 10 XS offers an even higher level of material protection. It is recommended to use the SAN™ 10 XS for applications where the main focus lies on the avoidance of material damage. Additionally, it is recommended to use the thinnest possible sewing thread.
Special application needle SAN™ 6 for denim or other medium to heavy material
The SAN™ 6 needle is the solution for the processing of medium-weight and heavy materials. Its higher stability and the titanium nitride (=GEBEDUR™) coating makes it perfectly suited for this demanding application. The larger eye enables even thicker threads to slide through smoothly.
